Fiona was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 1993 after a short career in education teaching law and liberal studies.
Fiona trained at Parker Rhodes Hickmotts and has happily stayed with the Firm all her legal working life.
Fiona has always specialised in Dispute Resolution and has, over the years, assisted hundreds of clients with, amongst other things, personal injury or criminal injury compensation claims, contractual disputes and employment problems.
Fiona has always favoured a plain, straightforward approach and strives to demystify the law so that clients represented by her fully understand the legal process.

Brian trained and qualified in a large regional law firm in the Midlands. Following qualification in 2011, Brian continued to work within the Dispute Resolution department at a large regional firm and specialised in commercial litigation. His work ranged from contractual disputes, debt claims, shareholder disputes to business rating disputes.
Brian moved to Yorkshire in 2014 following which he has worked for 3 large Yorkshire based firms. The move to Yorkshire provided Brian with exposure to a large variety of property litigation matters ranging from boundary disputes, renewal of business leases (both opposed and unopposed), possession of residential and commercial property for various landlords. During that period Brian also continued to deal with commercial litigation matters and gained experience of litigation in the healthcare sector.
Brian joined Parker Rhodes Hickmotts in 2018. Brian is recognised for his straight forward down to earth advice and commercial thinking when dealing with disputes.

Bridget has a wide range of experience, having specialised in this type of work and having practised in South Yorkshire since qualifying. Bridget is committed to providing clients with clear, practical advice and support during what can be a very difficult time in their lives.
Bridget returned to Parker Rhodes Hickmotts to head the Wills, Trusts & Probate Department in January 2015 and became a Partner in the firm in October 2016. She is a member of the Law Society Private Client Section.
